Event Description

The Maxwell Quartet are resident in our East Lothian community for their new project, Bridging, which features a wide range of concerts, workshops, school, and community collaborative performances. The Maxwells are no ordinary string quartet - they perform their own unique reworkings of traditional Scottish folk music alongside composers such as Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven.

All ages are welcome, and alongside the music, there will be an opportunity to meet and get to know the four members of the quartet.

“Take note of the Maxwell Quartet…they bring charisma and a sense of adventure to their programmes” New York Times
