Panto Chorus - Auditions Announcement

Calling all budding young performers in East Lothian!

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented performers to play the Chorus, in our professional pantomime, A Christmas Carol, in association with Wonder Fools.

The Brunton Pantomime returns to the stage at Corn Exchange, Haddington and Loretto Theatre, Musselburgh this year and we are on the lookout for chorus dancers to support our professional cast.

Participants are not required to pay a fee to be part of this production!

Working in rotation, these groups play a crucial role in this annual show. Those eligible to audition will be in school years P4 – S4, below 16 years old and able to sing, dance and act.

Auditions take place on Thursday 19 September at Musselburgh Grammar School.
Auditionees are required to sign in from 5.30pm, the audition will run from 6.00pm – 8.00pm.

Audition slots must be booked in advance by email, no later than Monday 16 September.
Emails should be sent to theatreadmin@eastlothian.gov.uk.
Please include participant’s full name, date of birth, medical conditions (if any), emergency contact, address and school.

Please note, chorus dancers will be required to perform at both venues.
Weekly rehearsals begin in October at Musselburgh Grammar School. The full rehearsal schedule will be confirmed at the audition.

The Brunton’s annual pantomime is a much loved festive extravaganza. Joining the chorus is a fantastic experience and a wonderful opportunity to take part in a professional production.
