Midweek movies and theatre screenings at Loretto School Theatre
Whilst unable to present events at The Brunton in Musselburgh, Brunton Theatre Trust are taking live arts and entertainment to venues in Musselburgh and Haddington.
The new year starts off with the Royal Opera House Live screening of Rusalka on Wednesday 24 January. A poetic, contemporary new staging of Dvořák’s lyric fairy tale opera filmed live at the Royal Opera House in 2022 and starring Asmik Grigorian as Rusalka.
The next day, Thursday 25 January, West End theatre comes to Musselburgh with National Theatre Live's screening of Dear England, a new play by James Graham, directed by Rupert Goold. Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale) plays Gareth Southgate in James Graham’s (Sherwood) gripping examination of nation and game.
Regular popular midweek movies will also be screened with new titles announced soon.
