J.S.Bach: Sonata in G major for violin & continuo BWV 1021
W.F.Bach: Trio in B major for violin & harpsichord

Bach’s music for violin and harpsichord is full of the energy and drive which characterise his finest music. Two of his Sonatas are framed by the past and the future represented by a sonata from his great predecessor Arcangelo Corelli and one by his eldest son William Friedmann. Performed by two brilliant baroque specialists this concert will really fizz.
