Are you interested in theatre and want to build skills, confidence and have fun?
Join East Lothian Youth Theatre and take part in weekly drama classes with the opportunity to perform at The Brunton, Musselburgh in an annual showcase. Groups are led by experienced drama professionals at a variety of locations across East Lothian.
These competitively priced, energetic and fun classes for ages 5 – 18 and beyond, let you explore creative movement, mimes to music and structured improvisation whilst gaining confidence through games and activities.

Do you want to take dance to the next level?
MOVE IT! and East Lothian Youth Dance Company are fun based dance classes to keep you active and learn basic streetdance or breakdance steps in a relaxed atmosphere. Dancers work on routines and improve skills such as flexibility, rhythm and coordination. Each year groups take part in a dance Showcase at The Brunton.
Classes are for East Lothian residents aged 3 to 21 years and take place in locations across the County.

The arts and creativity have a positive impact on learning through raising self confidence and self esteem, playing a key role in personal and social development. The East Lothian Council’s Arts Service and The Brunton work in partnership with East Lothian schools to create, facilitate and promote learning opportunities for pupils through arts and culture. The wide variety of art, craft, drama, dance and music based activities, projects and performances, support the aims of the Curriculum For Excellence.
