Young Classical Artists Trust Showcase Concert 2 Brahms plus
Thursday 25 August 12 noon lunch, 1pm concert
Irène Duval, violin, Jean-Selim Abdelmoula, piano and Maciej Kulakowski, cello, in the second of three sparkling programmes of chamber music.
The Young Classical Artists Trust supports the early careers of musicians so they can go on and move generations of audiences around the world with their talents. These three stars of the future met at The Kronberg Academy and as well as being brilliant soloists are committed and passionate chamber musicians. Their three programmes offer some of the greatest music for viol, cello and piano including Schubert’s great E flat trio.
Each of their programmes includes music by Gabriel Fauré, as well as a work by one of the great German masters, Beethoven, Brahms and Schubert. Their music choices are completed by wild romantic Gypsy music by Ravel and nostalgic melodies from central Europe by Janáček.
