At the beginning of March all youth theatre classes were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been working extremely hard during these difficult times to provide a solution for delivery.
After a very successful online term last year, we are back to provide another action packed block of online drama classes.
Our East Lothian Youth Theatre classes and Brunton Youth Theatre classes, will begin online from Monday 1st February 2021 and run for 8 weeks, continuing through the February break. All classes are led by experienced and qualified drama professionals who work as freelance performance artists and have a wealth of knowledge and talent.
Classes are being offered for a very low fee of £8.50 for an 8 week block, plus an additional £1.50 booking fee, thanks to funding The Brunton secured through Creative Scotland.
We know how important it is to stay connected right now and we would love to keep our amazing community of young drama students together at this time.
We are anticipating high demand for these classes and would suggest booking as soon as possible to avoid missing out as spaces are limited.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch with our Development Officer of Dance and Drama: youththeatre@eastlothian.gov.uk

After much consideration, The Brunton Theatre Trust has had to make the extremely difficult decision to postpone our annual Pantomime, Aladdin, until 2021.
This is merely as a postponement, not a cancellation of our treasured Panto. Aladdin will be with us bigger and better for the festive season 2021! Full story here.
